WEATHER POLICY:
The Haunts of Mackinac Tour will be held regardless of weather, except during severe weather. In the event of inclement
weather Haunts of Mackinac reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time. This is an outdoor adventure; please keep this in
mind when making reservations, and dress appropriately.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO:
Visitors are encouraged to take photographs on the tour. However, we request that you refrain from the use of audio or video
recording during the tour. All guests who go on the Haunts of Mackinac tour agree to the use of their image for any purposes
deemed suitable by Haunts of Mackinac.
DEPARTURE TIME:
Our guided tours last approximately 75-105 minutes. We ask that all guests try to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to their tour time in
order to get checked in with their guide. We plan to always leave ON TIME, so please make sure you are there. No refunds are
given for missed tour times.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES:
Visitors need to be mobile to fully participate in all aspects of the tour. Participants should be able to walk 1 ½ miles minimum.
The tour is primarily on level paved ground, however, there are some hilly spots and a few paths are dirt or grass. Participants
using wheelchairs, walkers, canes and or needing assistance in walking/moving or with other special health needs must be
accompanied by an able person who will assist them as needed.
GUEST BEHAVIOR:
Alcohol and Drug consumption during the tour is strictly prohibited. No Exceptions. Haunts of Mackinac reserves the right to
prohibit entrance to the tour to any guest who is visually intoxicated in any way. NO REFUNDS will be issued under these
circumstances.
Out of courtesy for all of our guests, smoking is prohibited during Haunts of Mackinac tours.
Haunts of Mackinac will not tolerate guests who are disruptive or destructive during the tour. Anyone found to be in violation of
this will be asked to leave the tour, NO REFUNDS.
We do not allow Alcohol, Drugs, Smoking, Running, Loud Noises/Yelling, Horseplay, or Littering on our tours. Violation may
result in termination of the tour with NO REFUND.
AGE RESTRICTIONS:
Due to the mature nature of some of the stories on the tour we require guests under 13 years of age to be accompanied by a
legal guardian. The tour deals with subjects such as murder, suicide, execution, and of other topics deemed by some too be to
intense for younger guests. All actions and behavior of guests under the age of 18 are the responsibility of their present legal
guardian and therefore that legal guardian will be held fully responsible for any actions or behaviors committed by their
underage guests on the tours.
AT YOUR OWN RISK:
Haunts of Mackinac takes every precaution to ensure that our guests will have a safe and entertaining tour. However, guests
take this tour AT THEIR OWN RISK and therefore will not hold Haunts of Mackinac liable for any form of occurrence which
takes place before, during or after the tour.
We ask that any guests who have a medical condition which may be aggravated by the tour to refrain from take the tour. Some
of the medical conditions include: pregnancy, strained/injured muscles, heart conditions, and any other condition which could be
aggregated by our tours.
