| Haunts of Mackinac was written as a basic guide to the ghosts, legends, and tragic tales of Mackinac Island. The book will most likely be just the first volume in a series. As I find more stories to tell and more people come forward to share them, a second and maybe third book will be written. The Book's Origins I had the original idea for the book over twenty years ago,when I was about 12 years old. At the time I was on vacation with my family, on Mackinac Island, when I had an experience at Mission Point Resort that stayed with me. I saw a ghost. I later found out this ghost was commonly seen at the resort and was known as "Harvey." From that point I was hooked, I started to gather information on the mysteries, legends, and ghosts found on and around Mackinac Island. It wasn't until a couple years ago that I finally decided to get serious and put the stories I had collected into book form. What The Book Includes
